I met Mary Gabriel during a Fur-Free Friday demonstration more than 12 years ago in Chicago, through a mutual vegan friend. I have been honored to call Mary my friend ever since.
During the course of our friendship, I’ve witnessed Mary’s unwavering commitment to the animals -- and with Mary, they always come first.
